hi my name is carrie and tonight i left college “my class was social problems” and while i was getting into the drivers side a man walked by and I even said hello to him but, i got a bad vibe i preceded to put my books in the back seat along with my purse and as fast as that he opened my back door and stole my purse. just like that my first reaction was to run and get the plate number but they were already driving away He got into the passenger side so i waonder if i was set up for this robbery? my second instinct was, since it was raining to drive after the car but i just was not sure so i didn’t! i filed a police report but, they really couldn’t do much about it , i just feel violated too. I am scared to go to class now I am a good person and nieve at times but i truely did not see this coming the policw man said that crimes like this rarely happen in that area like this? my lucky day all of my work was on a jump drive how do i tell my teacher i got robbed can i have an extention? i have to make so many calls and the worst part my social security number was in there aswell.

It's because your world has been violated by some low-life. I have had a similar experience, and it is not the loss of the "stuff" that's the problem (that's all replaceable), it's that someone has violated our personal world. The way you feel is natural, but it will pass with time. Remember, people are mostly good. Good luck!

.we want our children to have things and what is theirs is theirs we do not even want our child to be hurt, even though he dose not realize what is going on, taken away and it hurt you it"s good luck more good thing coming in his way, you done steel from a child because it like you i steeling from god. because god done like people that steel.

You just feel violated and of all the things they could have taken!!! I just have to tell you when my 2 year old was about 8 months old we went to the mall and i forgot to get the stroller out of the back of the truck, so the next morning we went to church and i thought for a second maybe i should put the stroller inside the truck, then i said no it will be o.k!!!! When we came out of Church his stroller was gone, can you believe someone stole a stroller, not to mention in a church parking lot!!!! I was heartbroken and still can not believe that happened!!! Now, i just say to my self someone really needed the stroller and i guess same goes for your baby bag, someone desperate needed it for there baby!!!! Sorry so long!!!

That sucks…I'm sorry.

You probably feel that way because it's your son's stuff…he can't complain or stick up for himself. It's totally understandable….they're so innocent….it hurts when things happen to them.

My mom always had a saying……..you can say or do whatever to me but if you hurt my child the fight is on………..although this didn't "hurt" your son you feel it was something done to him because it was his bag that was taken. I lost my purse one time along with my credit cards, cash, licesne and some jewelry I had taken off and dropped in the bottom it bothered me some as you said more the inconvience of cancelling cards and getting new ones but I cried for two days over the photo book I had in there with pictures of my kids. You are normal to feel this way.

Yes, its because you feel you didnt do enough to protect your sons belongings. I had the same thing happen to me. My husband & I went to a concert. We had my sons extra diaper bag with new bibs & pacifiers in it & my sons car seat in our car. When the concert was over we discovered they stole the diaper bag, car seat,cd's & mail that was in the car. I could care less about the cds. I felt violated that they went after my baby's things and I could do nothing about it.

Oh goodness, what a scare. You most likely feel this way because you know your son is innocent and cannot fend for himself. Also you relate the bag to him, so naturally you're worried about it.

I'm sorry someone would do such a horrible thing. Honestly… steal a baby's bag? How ridiculous!

because some idiot stole from a baby. thats pretty low. im sure the person figured that most women keep their wallet and such in it thats probably why it was taken

Because this was something that belonged to your son. I would probably feeling the same way as you are too. We want our children to have things, and what is theirs is theirs. We don't ever want our child to be hurt, even though he doesn't realize what is going on. You know that this was something for him and it got taken away and it hurts you. It's normal. Good Luck.
